1.Video recorder mode is not available on DVR.
•Ensure the DVR station cable is properly connected (Refer to page 4 of The Operation Manual R2)
•Make certain the DVR station is powered on, which is indicated by a green light in the front panel of the DVR station (See ARCHOS Power LED)
2.ARCHOS video playback on GVision.
•Make sure the camera cord is unplugged from GVision Monitor (Refer to page 4 of The Operation Manual R2)
•Press TV/LCD button on top right side of ARCHOS (Refer to page 6 of The Operation Manual) image 15
3.Copy Protected Video. (macrovision)
•While we know this can happen we have been using the ARCHOS since 2007 with little to no problems.
•We have found the following can trigger the macrovision
•Firmware may need to be updated See ARCHOS Firmware Update
•Recording with the transmitter on
•Camera reel short
•Bad Slip Rings
•Gas Generators that produce waves on the GVision
•How do I know if my video recording is Copy Protected?
•The simply way is to play back your recording on the GVision
•If the video is copy protected the GVision will display this Screen
and the video will not play back
•Refer to ARCHOS video playback on GVision above
•Is my video lost and gone forever?
•No, contact EPL Solutions Inc we can recover it
4.ARCHOS not responding.
5.My ARCHOS will not Record.
•Your ARCHOS may have become corrupted over time and may need to be refreshed.
